Zala Secure Pilot
Protect your accounts

A second opinion before you click, pay or reply.

Forward a message you're unsure about. Zala Secure checks who really sent it, where its links actually go and what they ask you for — then tells you what to do.

On Telegram or in your browser. Forward it, paste it, or send a screenshot. English and Arabic. It asks which country you live in before the first check, and is not offered in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland.

HIGH RISK

Treat this as an attempt to take money or credentials.

▸ The link ends at a throwaway address anyone can open in seconds without a name — no company sends its customers to one.

a card numberthe card security codea password

Microsoft Safe Links had rewritten this link. I checked where it really goes, not the rewritten address.

If you already entered something

1. Freeze the card in your banking app now — most UAE banks let you do it yourself in seconds, and it is reversible if you were wrong.

A real phishing email from our test set — shortened.

How it works

Three steps. Usually a few seconds.

  1. Send it the message

Forward the SMS, email or WhatsApp message to the bot, paste the text, or send a screenshot.

  2. It checks the evidence

Who really sent it, every link to its final destination, known scam lists, what the page asks you to type, and how it's worded.

  3. You get a verdict and a next step

The reasons behind it, where the link really goes, and what to do — including what to do if you already clicked or paid.

What it checks

Evidence first. Wording only as a reason to look closer.

A scam can copy a logo and a tone of voice. It is much harder to fake where a message came from and where its link ends up — so that is what decides a warning.

Where every link really goes

Follows redirects to the final page, unwraps links rewritten by Outlook Safe Links and other mail filters, and flags throwaway hosting.

Known scam lists

PhishTank, Phishing.Database and Google Web Risk — each reported on its own.

Who really sent it

Whether the sender's domain signs its mail, whether a brand's name comes from that brand's own domain, and whether replies are being moved to a free inbox.

The domain behind it

How old the domain is, when its first certificate appeared, and look-alike or hidden characters built to fool the eye.

What the page wants from you

Card numbers, security codes, passwords, one-time codes — shown plainly before you decide to type anything.

Your own history

Which organisations you usually hear from, so it can tell you when a "known" sender isn't who it claims to be.

More than messages

Check it before you scan, pay, install or reply.

Playbooks: watch the investigation

Paste a link and every detection engine runs in front of you — domain age, blocklists, where it really goes, a picture from the sandbox — each passing or failing.

A sandbox for files

Drop an attachment: Zala reads what it really is, finds macros and hidden links, and opens web-page files with all network blocked to see what they do.

New
Scam drills

Zala plays the scammer — a fake bank, a "son" with a new number, a police threat — and you practise saying no. Send one to your parents.

New
X-ray any message

See the tricks marked in the words themselves: the deadline, the borrowed authority, the secrecy, the ask for a code.

New
Zala in your family group

Add Zala to a Telegram family group. It stays quiet, and replies only under a link that shows a clear sign of a scam.

What happens to what you send

Checked, then discarded — unless you choose otherwise.

What it keeps

  • The verdict and your answer to "was it a scam?" — never the message itself.
  • Which organisations you hear from, so it can spot a sender pretending to be one of them. Account and phone numbers are only compared as one-way codes.
  • A redacted copy only if you say yes after a check. You're shown exactly what would be kept first — numbers, codes and email addresses removed; names are not. /forget deletes all of it.

What it never does

  • Never keeps your message after checking it. A redacted copy you haven't agreed to share is deleted after 15 minutes.
  • Never opens a link from your phone. Links carrying a code unique to you are opened only when nothing else can settle it — and it tells you when it did.
  • Never asks for a password, a code or your card. If anyone claiming to be Zala does, it isn't us.
  • Never says anything is "safe". Only whether its checks found warning signs.

Zala Secure's checks and storage run in the European Union. Messages reach it through Telegram.

Honest about its limits

A second opinion, not a filter.

A green result means none of its checks found anything — not that a message is safe. New scams appear every day, and some will get past any tool.

If money or an account is involved, confirm with the organisation using a number you already have — not one in the message.
